CREATIVE MORNINGS BZN > CURATE by Weigh Station

The talk for June’s CreativeMornings explores the theme “Curate” (Orange County chapter), framing care as an active practice of transformation and reclaiming reality through the hacking of everyday objects.

In a context where sexual and emotional education is still limited, ZIGZAG questions how bodies, desire, and intimacy are shaped by normative and market-driven models. Through DIY and object hacking practices, we explore more accessible and inclusive ways of building tools, narratives, and imaginaries around embodied experience. Here, “curate” becomes an active choice of what to keep, transform, and reinvent to better represent ourselves.

ZIGZAG is a collective by Viola Redaelli, Jacopo Margaglia, and Margherita Poli, founded in Bolzano in 2023 within the Eco-Social Design Master, working with Hackability (Turin) across several Italian cities on participatory practices for more inclusive sexual and emotional health.
