The next guest in Waag’s acoustic concert series is FANTA — the stage name of Manuel Fantacci, a singer and songwriter from Bolzano known for his versatile style that blends rap, R’n’B and contemporary urban sounds.
After taking his first steps in the local music scene, FANTA released his debut album in 2017, marking the beginning of an artistic journey that has been evolving ever since. His music is defined by an intimate, spontaneous language that is both witty and refined, resonating with younger listeners as well as a more mature audience.
Over the years, FANTA has taken part in several national music competitions, including Sanremo Giovani and the Festival di Castrocaro, earning attention and praise for his stage presence and the freshness of his sound.
A member of the Bolzano-based collective Supermarket, he collaborates with various artists and producers from the Italian independent scene, exploring crossovers between alternative pop, electronic music and hip-hop.
