Weigh Station / Waag +3

We’ll be exploring the theme of PERSPECTIVE with Sky Alps pilot and commanding officer Cesare Monnazzi at the next Creative Mornings meeting: hosted once a month at Weigh Station for breakfast, connecting with over 200 cities in 67 countries around the world.

Take an hour for yourself before starting work: we provide the coffee and content, so don’t forget your cup!

Our Creative Mornings theme for this March is PERSPECTIVE. And what better way to change perspective than to hear from those who fly from one side of the planet to the other every single day?

Accompanied by the experience of those who have been watching us from above for years, between coffee and croissants we will discover all the secrets—or rather, almost all of them—of the experience of an airline pilot. Joining us at this month’s breakfast meeting is Cesare Mornazzi, accompanied by fellow pilot Federico Alviti.

March – THE SPEAKER
Cesare Mornazzi, born in Rome, is now an commanding officer at Sky Alps Alto Adige. He began his career as an instructor officer in the Italian Army at the Anti-Aircraft Artillery School in Sabaudia during his conscription period. In 2000 he interrupted his mechanical engineering studies to follow his passion for flying, passing the selection process to enter the Alitalia Skymaster pilot school. He later took on the role of flight attendant and in 2008 as an airline pilot. In his career he has flown with larger aircraft (Livingston base Malpensa, Armavia base Yerevan in Armenia) as well as smaller aircraft on the opposite side of the world (Express Air in Indonesia), until he settled down first in Switzerland flying for SkyWork, then in Kuwait working for the national airline Kuwait Airways. He returned to Italy and gained experience in transoceanic flights to America and medium-haul flights with Verona-based Ernest, until joining Sky Alps in 2021.
