This month’s topic is “Sanctuary” and Astrid Amico and Martin Ruepp, the authors of the Mystische Orte in Südtirol book series, will explore it further.
Sanctuary — a religious place, but also a refuge and an asylum. What are contemporary sanctuaries? Where do we find them in our environment and what is their significance? We’ll reflect on it with a brief overview of the «mystical places» of South Tyrol.
ABOUT THE SPEAKERS
Astrid Amico was born in 1966 in Bolzano, she is a piano teacher, trained in pranotherapy and bionaturopathy, in “Energiebahnarbeit” and “Wagnering” body work. She has also been practicing Yoga and meditation for many years.
Martin Ruepp was born in 1974 in Val Venosta, studied public relations and ethnology in Vienna, is a photographer and a graphic designer and currently works as a media designer in Bolzano.
Together they have written two books: Mystische Orte in Südtirol 1 and 2 and are currently working on the third issue.
