At the foot of Tepozteco, a sacred mountain watching over the winds and fertility, lies the small town of Tepoztlán. Against this backdrop, fifteen-year-old Karla undergoes a profound physical and emotional transformation. As Karla navigates this metamorphosis, Kani edits footage gathered over eight years for a film that unfolds alongside the experiences of growing up trans in the countryside.
